Euronav purchases ULCC from International Seaways

Euronav Tankers has acquired an ultra large crude carrier from the Oceania Tanker Corporation.

Euronav has changed the name of the ship from Seaways Laura Lynn to Oceania and registered it under the Belgian flag.

Euronav bought the ultra large crude carrier for US$32.5 million.

The 380-metre-long ship weighs 441,585 deadweight tonnes and has a gross tonnage of 234,006 tonnes.

The Oceania Tanker Corporation is a subsidiary of International Seaways.
