Antwerp-based Euronav has acquired two Suezmax tankers through a joint venture formed with affiliates of Ridgebury Tankers and clients of Tufton Oceanic.
The joint venture companies have acquired the two tankers for a total consideration of US$40.6 million with the vessels being delivered for the winter spot market 2019/2020. One vessel will be delivered with immediate effect while the second is expected to be delivered before the end of November.
Both vessels will be commercially managed by Euronav's chartering desk.
