AET has taken delivery of Eagle Campos, the first in a series of three Suezmax shuttle tankers purpose-built for long-term charter to Shell's wholly owned indirect subsidiary Brazil Shipping I.
The DP2-equipped, 153,000DWT newbuild will soon commence operations in Brazil alongside AET's Eagle Pilar, which is already being operated on charter to Shell.
Eagle Campos' two sister vessels are currently under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea. Both are due to be delivered later this year.
AET has another five DP2 shuttle tankers under construction to be delivered in 2022.
