Titan LNG’s bunkering supply chain project secures €11 million in EU grant funding

Published on

Amsterdam-based Titan LNG has received €11 million (US$12.8 million) funding from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), the European Union's grant scheme supporting transport infrastructure and connectivity as well as the use of environmentally friendly fuels for transport.

The funding will be for Titan LNG's bio-LNG bunkering supply chain project wherein three bunker barges will be situated in Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, and Lübeck.

The bunker barges in Belgium and Germany will be similar to Titan LNG's existing vessels FlexFueler 001 (pictured) and FlexFueler 002. For the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp region, the company will construct a mothership, named Titan Hyperion, that will resupply the other bunker barges.
