Teekay has taken delivery of Georgiy Ushakov, the fifth of six icebreaking LNG carriers in a series ordered by the company.
The 299- by 50-metre vessel honours the late Georgiy Alexeyevich Ushakov, a famed Russian Arctic explorer.
Georgiy Ushakov will serve the Yamal LNG Project in Russia under a 50:50 joint venture between Teekay LNG and COSCO Dalian's China LNG Shipping.
