SCF time charters three icebreaking LNG carriers for Arctic LNG 2 project

SCF Group and Arctic LNG 2, the operator of the Arctic LNG 2 project, have entered into 30-year time charter agreements for three new icebreaking LNG carriers.

These vessels were ordered by SCF from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) earlier this month following the tender held by the project's operator. All are scheduled for delivery in 2023.

The vessels will each have ice class Arc7 notation and a total cargo capacity of 172,410 cubic metres.
