Newbuild gas carrier handed over to Flex LNG

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) handed over a new LNG carrier to Flex LNG on Friday, January 1.

Flex Freedom is the eleventh vessel to join the Flex LNG fleet. It has an LOA of 295 metres, a beam of 46 metres, a draught of 8.3 metres, a cargo capacity of 173,400 cubic metres, and a full reliquefaction system.

The ship will sail under the flag of the Marshall Islands.
