Norwegian oil and gas engineering company Moss Maritime has unveiled a design for a liquefied hydrogen (LH2) bunker vessel.
Designed in co-operation with Equinor, Wilhelmsen, and DNV GL, the vessel will have a total cargo capacity of 9,000 cubic metres with each cargo tank capable of storing liquefied hydrogen at temperatures of up to -253 degrees Celsius.
The vessel will be used to provide LH2 bunkering services to merchant ships and passenger vessels.
