Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has received orders for three new vessels from two companies under Angelicoussis Shipping Group of Greece.
The South Korean shipyard will build a 174,000-cubic-metre LNG carrier for Maran Gas Maritime and two 318,000DWT very large crude carriers (VLCCs) for Maran Tankers Management. The orders have a total value of approximately US$380 million.
The VLCCs and the LNG carrier will be delivered in the third quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, respectively.
