Danish gas carrier operator B-Gas has expanded its fleet of LPG carriers with the recent acquisition of a 2006-built vessel.

The Madeira-registered B-Gas Monarch, which has a total cargo capacity of 3,315 cubic metres, will be operated alongside B-Gas' other vessels in serving the European LPG coaster market.

The vessel was built by Madenci Shipyard in Istanbul and had originally sailed under the name Merope Star. It operated as Luke prior to its acquisition by its current owners.
