Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering cut the first steel for a new 12,500DWT cargo ship on Tuesday, April 30.
The DNV GL-classed vessel will have an LOA of 147 metres, a moulded depth of 11.55 metres, a design draught of 7.5 metres, and a service speed of 15 knots.
Once completed, the vessel will be delivered to an unnamed German shipowner.
