Athens-based Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corporation has entered into a time charter agreement with Glencore for an additional Capesize dry bulk vessel.

Knightship (pictured) will be the third of Seanergy's vessels to be time chartered by ST Shipping and Transport, a fully owned subsidiary of Glencore. Knightship will follow Premiership and Squireship, which were delivered to ST Shipping in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The time charter for Knightship will commence immediately upon completion of scrubber installation on the vessel, which is expected by the end of May 2020. The charter has options to extend to up to 36 and 42 months.

Further, an unnamed Asian dry bulk operator has agreed to extend the initial four- to seven-month time charter of Seanergy's Capesize vessel Gloriuship for an additional period of 10 to 14 months.

The new extension for Gloriuship commenced on April 23.
