Monaco-registered Safe Bulkers has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of a Post-Panamax dry bulk vessel from an undisclosed owner.
The 87,000DWT vessel was built in Japan and is designed to meet EEDI Phase III and NOx Tier III requirements.
Safe Bulkers will take delivery of the vessel in the third quarter of 2022.
