Keel laid for new Ro-Ro ferry for IVP Ship Invest

German shipyard Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) has laid the keel for a new freight-only Ro-Ro ferry ordered by UK-based IVP Ship Invest.

The newbuilding will have a length of 210 metres, a beam of 26 metres, 4,007 lane metres for freight, accommodations for 34 crew and 12 truck drivers, and two 9,600kW main engines.

The vessel is scheduled to be completed by April 2022.
