The world's largest short sea Ro-Ro ship Celine has been christened for Luxembourg-based CLdN in Dublin Port.
With a capacity of 8,000 lane-metres, the 235-metre ferry will be servicing Dublin Port as part of the multi-million-euro ABR project, under which three kilometres of new berths are being built.
Built at South Korea's Hyundai Mipo Shipyard, Celine is the sister vessel to Delphine, which was delivered in January.
Celine will strengthen Ireland's trade links with Europe by providing direct services from Dublin to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge.
