Oshima Shipbuilding delivers coal carrier to NYK

Oshima Shipbuilding recently delivered a new coal carrier to Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK).

Named Lily Fortune, the vessel will transport Australian and Indonesian coal to coal-fired power plants owned by Tohoku Electric Power to generate electricity for Japan's Tohoku region.

The newbuild has an LOA of 235 metres, a beam of 43 metres, a summer draught of 12.85 metres, and a deadweight of 91,443 tonnes.
