Ontario’s Doornekamp Construction welcomes tug, barge to fleet

Ontario-based Doornekamp Construction has taken delivery of a multi-purpose tug and a pontoon barge built by Damen Shipyards Group.

The tug, which has been renamed Amy Lynn D, was formerly part of Damen Marine Services' charter fleet. It has a length of 32 metres, a draught of 3.3 metres, and a maximum bollard pull of 48 tonnes.

The cargo barge measures 74.25 by 23.5 metres and has a deadweight of 4,700 tonnes. Its 1,727 square metres of deck space has a capacity of 20 tonnes per square metre.
