Oldendorff sells six Ultramax bulkers to China Development Bank

Oldendorff Carriers has entered into an agreement to sell six of its existing Ultramax dry bulk vessels to China Development Bank Leasing (CDBL).

The objects of the sale are the 61,000DWT sisters Jan Oldendorff, Jens Oldendorff, Jonas Oldendorff, and Jacob Oldendorff and the 60,000DWT sisters August Oldendorff and Alwine Oldendorff.

The transaction also includes a floating bareboat agreement wherein all six ships are chartered back to Oldendorff for a firm period of five years. No re-purchase obligations are involved.

The vessels will be handed over to CDBL between December 8, 2020, and February 6, 2021.
