Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) is slated to take delivery of a newbuild LNG-fueled bulk carrier in early 2025.
Construction of the 299.99- by 50-metre vessel will take place at the facilities of Nihon Shipyard, the recently established joint venture company of Imabari Shipbuilding and Japan Marine United.
Following delivery, the vessel will be chartered by local company JFE Steel Corporation for the importation of iron ore and coal.
