Jiangsu Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding Company, a joint venture between Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings, officially began operations on Thursday, August 1.The company will specialise in building bulk carriers, oil tankers, and LNG tankers at its main shipyard in Taicang in Jiangsu province.
One of the joint venture's initial projects is the construction of vessels for transporting renewable energy-related products for the Chinese market.
