Krasnoye Sormovo delivers third of four Project RSD59 cargo ships to Pola Rise

Russia's Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard has delivered Idel 3, the third of four Project RSD59 ice capable cargo vessels ordered by local shipping company Pola Rise.

The vessel is capable of sailing in both open sea and inland waterways. It is intended for transport of general and bulk cargo, packaged lumber, round wood, scrap metal, metal in bundles and rolls, coal, dangerous goods, and goods classified as category B.

Idel 3 has a length of 140.88 metres, a beam of 16.98 metres, a depth of six metres, and sea and river draughts of 3.6 metres and 4.53 metres, respectively.
