Klaveness takes delivery of sixth combination carrier in series from Chinese yard

Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) took delivery of a new cargo vessel from Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding in China on Monday, January 11.

The vessel has been named Baiacu after the Portuguese for "pufferfish." It is the sixth in a series of eight ships to be ordered by KCC.

The newbuild is slated to begin operational sailings with KCC in mid-February 2021.
