Netherlands' BigLift and South Korea's Chang Yung have entered into an agreement to cooperate in heavy transport shipping for the oil and gas (O&G) and renewables markets.

Under the agreement, BigLift will operate four heavy transport vessels (HTVs) to be provided by the two companies.

The projects will utilise two pairs of sisterships: BigLift Barentsz, BigLift Baffin, CY Interocean I, and CY Interocean II (pictured).

Both BigLift and Chang Yung will provide technical and operational support in the early stages of the projects.
