First steel cut for new self-unloading bulker for CSL Group

China Shipbuilding Chengxi Ship Repair has cut the first steel for a new 40,000DWT self-unloading bulk carrier ordered by Canada's CSL Group.

The vessel will have an LOA of 190 metres, a beam of 29 metres, and a design draught of 10.5 metres.

The bulk carrier is expected to be capable of unloading up to 5,500 tonnes of cargo per hour.
