First of four new multi-purpose cargo vessels enters service with dship Carriers

Mick, the first of four new multi-purpose cargo vessels ordered from Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in China, has entered service with German operator dship Carriers.

The second vessel is slated to be handed over to dship in June 2019 while the remaining two vessels of the order are under construction and are scheduled for delivery in 2020.

Mick has an LOA of 138.07 metres, a beam of 21 metres, a speed of 15.5 knots, a main hold length of 75 metres, and a combined lifting capacity of 500 tonnes.
