Dutch shipbuilders Concordia Damen and Lenten Scheepvart have entered into an agreement for the construction of a new hydrogen-powered inland cargo vessel.
The vessel, to be named Antonie, will measure 135 metres long and will be powered by hydrogen fuel cell propulsion.
Antonie will be used to transport salt between Delfzijl in the north of the Netherlands to Botlek in the Port of Rotterdam for chemical supplier Nouryon.
