Diana Shipping, through a separate wholly owned subsidiary, has signed a memorandum of agreement for the sale of a Panamax dry bulk vessel to Cyprus-based Castor Maritime.
The 2001-built Nirefs will be sold to Castor for a price of US$6.71 million before commissions.
Delivery of Nirefs to its new owners is expected no later than October 30 of this year. It will be the second Panamax bulk vessel to join the Castor fleet.
