Cyprus-based Castor Maritime recently took delivery of four new vessels from various owners.

Joining the Castor fleet are the 2011-built Panamax bulk carrier Magic Vela (pictured), the 2010-built Kamsarmax bulk carrier Magic Nebula, the 2015-built Kasmarmax bulk carrier Magic Starlight, and the 2005-built Aframax tanker Wonder Vega.

Also, Castor, through two separate wholly-owned subsidiaries, has entered into agreements to acquire a 2013 Japanese-built and a 2014 South Korean-built Panamax bulk carrier from unaffiliated third parties for purchase prices of US$19.06 million and US$21.0 million, respectively. These two additional vessels will be delivered by the fourth quarter of 2021.
