Diana Containerships has completed the sale of one of its post-Panamax container vessels, with delivery of the vessel to her new owner on June 29.

Puelo has an overall length of 304 metres, deadweight of 81,250 tonnes and a 73,934 gross tonnage.

With the vessel delivered, Diana Containerships will prepay approximately US$19.4 million of its existing debt, after which the total outstanding debt will be approximately US$19.5 million.

That remaining debt is expected to be fully settled upon completion of the previously announced sale of another post-Panamax container vessel by July 31, 2018.
