Norwegian owner Belships has entered into an agreement to the oldest vessel in its fleet to China's Jinhui Shipping and Transportation.

The 2007-built, 55,000DWT Supramax bulk carrier Belfri will be handed over to its new owner at the end of the third quarter of 2021.

Belships said the sale of Belfri will help make way for the introduction of seven new Ultramax bulk carriers into the company's fleet in the coming months.
