Belships has agreed to acquire the 55,866DWT bulk carrier Sephora from Prospero Marine, a company controlled by Greek shipowner Elias Kulukundis.

The supramax vessel was originally built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in 2007.

Sephora was purchased for an agreed price of US$12 million and is scheduled to be handed over to its new owners in July.
