ZIM acquires seven secondhand vessels from various owners

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services purchased seven secondhand vessels in a number of separate transactions during the month of October 2021, the company said in a recent press release.

The vessels purchased include five 4,250TEU vessels and two 1,100TEU vessels. All seven were built between 2007 and 2009.

ZIM said the total value of the purchases is approximately US$320 million.
