Pacific International Lines orders four dual-fuel newbuildings

Pacific International Lines (PIL) has awarded China's Yangzijiang Shipbuilding a contract for the construction of four container vessels in a series.

The vessels will each have capacity for 8,000 TEUs and an ammonia intermediate ready fuel tank. The vessels' dual-fuel engines will also be able to operate on LNG.

Deliveries will commence in 2025.
