LNG-powered 23,000TEU ship joins CMA CGM fleet

CMA CGM has taken delivery of a new LNG-powered containership built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation's (CSSC) Jiangnan Shipyard.

CMA CGM Trocadero is the eighth new 23,000TEU ship that CMA CGM will deploy on its service linking China with Northern European ports.

The newbuild has an LOA of 400 metres, a beam of 62 metres, a draught of 8.3 metres, a deadweight of 216,900 tonnes, and a total cargo capacity of 18,600 cubic metres. One WinGD dual-fuel engine delivers a speed of 12 knots.
