A.P. Moller Maersk has entered into an agreement with Saudi Ports Authority regarding an investment of US$136 million over a period of 25 years to set up an Integrated Logistics Park at the Jeddah Islamic Port in Saudi Arabia.
The project, which will be spread over an area of 205,000 square metres, will offer an array of services with an aim to streamlining the supply chains of importers and exporters in the Kingdom.
Maersk said renewable energy will be used to power the new facility, which sits on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast.
