Russia's Vyborg Shipyard laid the keel of a new ice-capable patrol boat on Monday, July 27.
The vessel will be operated primarily in Arctic waters by the Border Service of Russia's Federal Security Service.
The Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau had carried out the design work on the vessel.
