Icelandic builder Rafnar, through Athens-based subsidiary Rafnar Hellas, has delivered the third unit of a planned series of 10 rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) ordered by the Hellenic Coast Guard.

The RIB has an LOA of 11 metres, NATO level three anti-ballistic panels, and three Mercury 335kW outboard engines that deliver a maximum speed in excess of 50 knots.

Missions will include border patrols and search and rescue (SAR).
