The Norwegian Environment Agency (NEA) recently took delivery of a new patrol boat from local builder Hukkelberg.
The custom-designed 12-metre craft will be operated in the coastal waters off the Lofoten and Vesteralen islands in northern Norway. Among its equipment is a stern launch and recovery system for one outboard-powered tender.
Two HamiltonJet HJX29 units propel the NEA patrol boat to a top speed of just under 40 knots.
