Rafnar, through Athens-based subsidiary Rafnar Hellas, has delivered a new rigid inflatable boat (RIB) to the Hellenic Coast Guard.

The 11-metre RIB is the fifth in a series of 10 boats being built by Rafnar for the coast guard. It has a speed of 50 knots courtesy of two Mercury outboard engines and a pilothouse protected by NATO level three anti-ballistic panels.

The boat will be used on patrols and search and rescue (SAR) missions in the Aegean Sea.
