The US Coast Guard has contracted Metal Shark Boats of Louisiana to build seven additional mark II response boats-small (RB-S II).
The US$3 million contract indicates an initial delivery in the spring of 2019.
The new 8.83-metre aluminium boats will operate primarily in the Seattle, Washington area.
