The municipality of Albuera in Philippines' Leyte province recently took delivery of a new disaster response workboat from local builder BangkaPro.
The FRP-hulled, centre console craft is powered by a Suzuki outboard engine with fuel supplied from a 200-litre tank.
The boat will be operated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), a civil defence and disaster response organisation of the municipal government of Albuera. Secondary duties will include coastal patrols.
