Colombo Dockyard lays keel of pilot/patrol boat for Japan’s Kowa

Sri Lanka's Colombo Dockyard laid the keel of a new multi-purpose vessel on Tuesday, September 15.

Designed by MacDuff Ship Design, the vessel will be operated by Kowa Company of Japan as a pilot transport and harbour patrol platform.

The vessel will have a length of 19 metres, seating for up to 12 people, and a speed of 20 knots.
