China's General Administration of Customs has taken delivery of two new steel-aluminium patrol vessels in a series from a local shipyard.
Zhongguo Haiguan 1101 ("China Customs 1101") and Zhongguo Haiguan 1102 ("China Customs 1102") each have a length of 49 metres, a moulded beam of 7.4 metres, and three 1,939kW diesel engines that deliver a speed of 32.5 knots and a range of 850 nautical miles.
The vessels will be used primarily for anti-smuggling duties.
