Saab bags Polish Navy order for minehunting UUVs

Saab has been awarded a contract to supply an undisclosed number of Double Eagle SAROV unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) to the Polish Navy.

The UUVs will have an operational depth of 300 metres and will be capable of deploying from the Polish Navy's Kormoran II-class mine countermeasures vessels (MCMVs).

Delivery is scheduled for the 2021-2022 timeframe.
