Russia orders two more diesel-electric subs

Russia's TASS news agency reports that the country's ministry of defence has placed an order for two new diesel-electric submarines.

The submarines will consist of one Project 636.3 ship and one Project 677 ship.

Both vessels will be built at the facilities of United Shipbuilding Corporation's (USC) Admiralty Shipyard in Saint Petersburg.
