US Navy takes delivery of 10th Independence-class LCS

The US Navy has taken delivery of the future USS Cincinnati, the 10th Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) to be built by Austal USA.

The vessel is the fifth US Navy ship to be named in honour of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The future Cincinnati has a length of 418 feet (127.4 metres), a beam of 104 feet (31.6 metres), a draught of 14 feet (4.27 metres), and a speed of 40 knots.
