Second PKX-B attack craft delivered to South Korean Navy

Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction (HHIC) delivered the second Patrol Killer Experimental-B (PKX-B) or Chamsuri II-class fast attack craft slated for the South Korean Navy in a ceremony in Busan on Tuesday, November 26.

The vessel, with pennant number 212, has an LOA of 44 metres, a beam of seven metres, a crew of 20, and a top speed of 40 knots.

The second PKX-B will be commissioned into service in the first half of 2020. It will be deployed on border patrol missions.

The third and fourth vessels in the class are scheduled for delivery before the end of 2019.
