The Hindu reports that Hindustan Shipyard has begun sea trials of VC 11184, the yet-to-be-named missile-tracking ship being built for the Indian Navy.

The vessel will be handed over to the Ministry of Defence following completion of sea trials though no specific timeline has been given.

VC 11184 is slated to be the first ship of its kind to sail under the Indian flag.
