Russian minesweeper Georgiy Kurbatov floated out

Sredne-Nevsky Shipbuilding Plant has floated out Georgiy Kurbatov, the second Russian Navy minesweeper to be built under Project 12700 or the Alexandrit-class.

The vessel's array of mine countermeasures (MCM) equipment will include towed sonar, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).

Delivery to the navy is expected in 2021.
