The future BRP Antonio Luna, the Philippine Navy's second Jose Rizal-class guided missile frigate, was launched into the water for the first time in a ceremony at Hyundai Heavy Industries' (HHI) shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, on Friday, November 8.

Its armament will include a 76-millimetre naval gun, a 30-millimetre autocannon, four 12.7-millimetre machine guns, Mistral surface-to-air missiles (SAMs), Haeseong anti-ship missiles, and torpedoes.
